4. Session vs Persistent Cookies

Session Cookies

Temporary cookies that exist only while your browser is open. They are automatically deleted when you close the browser. Used for login sessions and CSRF protection.

Persistent Cookies

Remain on your device for a set period (e.g., 1 year for consent, 2 years for GA4). They are not deleted when you close the browser and can be removed manually via your browser settings.
