What is the WSO2 MVP Programme?

The WSO2 Most Valuable Professional track is a comprehensive programme that bundles all four WSO2 developer and expert certifications into a single 24-week pathway. Graduates hold certifications in API Manager, Micro Integrator 4.5, Identity Server, and Solution Architecture — the full WSO2 middleware stack. Programme Overview

This programme is the most comprehensive WSO2 training offering available in West Africa. It covers the entire WSO2 open-source middleware platform across 24 weeks — combining what would otherwise be four separate courses into an intensive, continuous learning experience with shared projects that span multiple WSO2 products.

Students work on a real-world end-to-end integration project throughout the programme, integrating APIs, mediation flows, identity management, and architectural governance into a single cohesive solution. Graduates are prepared to sit all four WSO2 certification examinations and to lead enterprise integration projects in banking, government, telecoms, and health sectors across Africa.

Programme Structure

Concurrent delivery of API Manager and Micro Integrator 4.5 modules. Students build a shared capstone that publishes a REST API via API Manager and connects it to backend services via Micro Integrator 4.5. Includes Developer and Expert exam preparation for both products.

Identity and access management layer added to the shared capstone project — securing the API via OAuth2, configuring SSO across service providers, and implementing XACML policy-based authorisation. Includes Developer and Expert exam preparation.

Architecture review, capacity planning, CI/CD pipeline, and microservices decomposition applied to the capstone. Students present a complete enterprise integration solution in a final demo. Includes preparation for the WSO2 Solution Architect examination.
